AHM SUMMER YOUTH THEATER

The AHM Summer Youth Theater began in 1983 and is the longest running program offered by the regional youth service bureau. Each year, students from Hebron, Andover, and Marlborough, grades five through twelve, spend six weeks of summer evenings preparing and performing a full length musical.  Shows of the past include Peter Pan, Once Upon a Mattress, Cinderella, Meet Me in St. Louis, My Fair Lady, Oliver, The Wizard of Oz, Bye Bye Birdie, Li’l Abner, Godspell, Damn Yankees, and State Fair.

AHM's Summer Youth Theater is directed by Mary Rose Meade. Ms. Meade is a  1989 graduate from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she received her BFA in Drama.   She holds a Masters Degree in English and is a Professional Certified Educator in the state of Connecticut as well.  Ms. Meade has headed the AHM Summer Youth Theater Program since 1992, serving as both program director and production director.
