Family Resource Center

The AHM Family Resource Center offers Play and Learn Groups for parents and their children ages birth to 5.  Groups include developmentally appropriate activities for school readiness, such as crafts, socialization, snack, and circle time with stories and songs. Information and handouts on a variety of topics relating to raising children are available to parents, along with consultation with the Parent Educator.  We offer a comfortable, fun setting for parents and kids to learn and meet new friends!

Parent and Child Play and Learn Groups

AHM Youth Services with support from RHAM High School runs a Preschool program, KinderRHAMa Preschool. This program serves children ages three and four from the towns of Andover, Hebron, and Marlborough.

KindeRHAMA Preschool Program

Free workshops are provided to family daycare providers on a quarterly basis. Technical assistance is also available as needed. CPR, first aid, and meds classes are also offered annually in late spring at a discounted rate. If you would like to receive announcements of workshops, and you are a local family daycare provider, contact AHM.

Training for Childcare providers

According to the philosophy of this FREE national program, you as parents are your child's first and most influential teachers. A trained Parent Educator will meet with you monthly either in your home or at Gilead Hill School FRC Room to talk to you about your child's development, do an activity, and bring handouts or other requested materials. All families living in Andover, Hebron and Marlborough, with children ages birth-age 5 are eligible for this service.

The AHM Family Resource Center has compiled a directory of agencies and organizations that can offer a variety of support and services when needed. The AHM Resource Handbook includes descriptions of AHM Youth Services and Family Resource Center programs, as well as a list of contacts for schools, local organizations, places of worship, and other sources of service and referral.
