Family Yoga/Dance Night Friday, April 25th from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the AHM Community Building Join Yoga Instructors Becky Acabchuk and Dori Sargent for a fun FAMILY night. Dance to live drumming and music, play the drums, learn some fun yoga poses, and experience guided relaxation with your child(ren). No experience with yoga or dance required! AT (860) 228-9488 THANK YOU 2008 Project Graduation Form Meetings will be held every 2nd Tuesday of each month at AHM Building at 25 Pendleton Drive from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. 2008 PROJECT GRADUATION!!!!! March 2008 Dear Parent of Senior Students: For the past 19 years AHM Youth & Family Services, with the endorsement of RHAM High School, has sponsored a safe, drug and alcohol free environment for the graduating class to share their final high school moments and memories together. We strongly encourage all students to attend and to reach our goal of 100% participation, hope you, as parents will encourage them as well. Last year over 150 students attended this event! In the past, AHM has successfully received financial support from area businesses, local organizations, RHAM Board of Education, and parents. AHM's Project Graduation for 2008 will cost in excess of $15,000. Parents are asked to support this event by making a contribution of $30 per family. (The cost of last year's event was approx. $70 per student.) Checks should be made payable to AHM Youth Services and should be sent to AHM not later than May 15, 2008. There will be an added late fee of $10 if students sign up after May 31st. However, AHM has a strict policy that allows all individuals to participate in a youth service bureau activity regardless of their financial abilities. The RHAM Project Graduation event occurs the evening of graduation from approximately 9 pm till 5 am. The students will depart from RHAM High School aboard awaiting buses and be taken directly to the graduation party. The event will include food, beverages, entertainment, transportation and prizes. These buses will be the sole source of transportation to and from the event. Only those students, whose physical disabilities prevent them from using the buses provided, will be exempt. Students will remain at the event for the entire evening. If an emergency occurs requiring the student to leave prior to the end of the evening a parent will be contacted to transport them from the activity.
