Donations
Since 1983, the communities of Andover, Hebron and Marlborough, Connecticut have joined forces to provide a wide range of mental health intervention, prevention and positive youth development services for children and families. This unique regional partnership fostered the creation of AHM Youth and Family Services, a 501(C-3) non-profit organization. AHM meets or exceeds all local, state and federal regulations which govern charitable agencies. All donations are tax-deductible up to the maximum limits allowed by law.

AHM Children's
Trust Fund
In 1993 the AHM Board of Directors established an endowment fund known today as the AHM Children's Trust Fund. Contributions made to the fund are placed in carefully selected investment vehicles for the purpose of supporting future programs and services. The endowment is similar to those found at major universities and hospitals, giving donors the opportunity to support an organization that they support. There are many different ways in which a donor can contribute to the AHM Children's Trust Fund. There are gifts of an appreciated asset such as stocks or bonds, or matching gifts through employers. A gift to AHM through the creation of a will helps to assure that your charitable intentions can be fulfilled. Donations to the General Fund Operating a non-profit corporation requires the generous support of many people, corporations, small businesses and private foundations. Your tax-deductible gift to the general fund will be used to support programs and services in our current fiscal year. AHM is not part of a larger corporation, and its services are designed exclusively to serve the residents of Andover, Hebron and Marlborough.
Leave a Legacy
AHM Youth and Family Services, Inc., is one of hundreds of non-profit organizations to have recently joined Connecticut's Leave a Legacy campaign. Leave a Legacy is a statewide public awareness effort to encourage people to leave a charitable gift in their wills to a cause they care about. Making a gift through your will can help ensure that your support continues forever. Since 1992, the AHM Children's Trust Fund has received numerous contributions to develop an endowment for this grassroots community organization. If you are considering a bequest in your will, please remember AHM Youth Services, Inc.
Tree of Life
The AHM Board of Directors has created a symbolic living tree to remember a loved one or to honor of a lifetime event. The Tree of Life can be viewed in the community room of the AHM building. A donation to the Tree of Life is acknowledged with engraved leaves in the following categories:
Employer-Company Matches Do you work for a business or corporation that considers matching gifts to a charity of your choice? Many Connecticut businesses and corporations currently include our organization on their matching contributions list.
